Default Wolverine problems

Hey i went riding the other day and was ripping through the mud when my oil temp light came on so i ewent back home let the quad sit for a day went to start it the next day and the engine was bogging down in neutral. So i changed the oil because the old oil was cooked. Went to start it and let it run for awhile with the new oil and it still bogs down. Any idea of the problem or a way to fix it?

Thanks

Do a quick compression check, if the temp light came on, and you ran it hard with old oil in it, you may have burnt a valve or scored the cylinder, if comp. is over 115 or over, you should be ok, then go and clean out that carb and service your air filter while you have it apart !!! Mud could have clogged up the little oil cooler, so check that too. Hope the motor is ok, hard riding requires hard maintence to keep it alive !!!
