will i get a good hp gain from a 36mm carb

my friend gave me a 36mm mikuni vm carb which is 2mm bigger than my stock vm carb and it has a much bigger bell than the stock one i just want to know how much more power i will get from it and i plan on getting it bored and tapered

You will get about a 2-4hp increase but you will notice a lot better throttle response.
