Default raptor reverse problem

sometimes when i shift into reverse, it seems like it doesn't go all the way into reverse and makes this sound like the gears are spinning and the tips of the gear teeth are barely touching each other. when i hear it, i push down on the shifter and it goes into reverse fully, but i'm thinking to myself that this can't be right. does anyone else have this problem or know how i can fix it? am i shifting into reverse correctly?

I got the same thing going, I don't think there is anyhting wrong, it just seems to happen when I don't shift fully down when I twist the reverse ****. Usually doesn't happen though.

Mike.

The gears are not lined up....Just keep your foot lightly pushing down on the shift lever while you slowly release the clutch. You will feel it click into reverse gear and then you are good to go!

But don't force it in while the everything is turning fast because you will break something!
