Need help raptor running like crap

Me and brother have 2004 raptor, we let yamaha install their gyt header system and pipes we also have air filter and the outerwear prefilter air box lid and they install 155 150 main jet and know we can not open the throttle all the way, when we do eighter its bogging or like the dealer said its slamming the rev-limit can anyone help me and my brother?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

if it is hitting the rev limiter, the only solution is to shift up.
you gotta rev a raptor pretty hard to hit the limiter. it's not a 2 stroke.. you dont need all those revvs - use the midrange.
if its crapping out on the top:
change the spark plug, look at it and see what it says.
put good, fresh, gas in it [dont drain the lawnmower]
make sure your air cleaner is clean
maybe you ARE hitting the rev limiter.. ive seen the 450s do it before they sounded like they were revved out....
try shifting earlier. the raptor is a guts motor, like a big block...if you wanna stay pinned all day, you bot the wrong quad.

I wonder if you dont need bigger jets, i am running the K&N filter and K&N lid with just the GYT-R slip on and i have to run 160/165 jets, with the header as well as the slip on and the filter i would think that you would at least need the 160/165. The dealership should have tuned this better for you, when i got mine back it ran great. Like the others have said the raptor is a torgue motor not a high revving rocket ship.
