Skid plates
#4
I take mine off when I go to ride in the sand, even the swingarm skid. Only takes a few minutes to remove them. The guys that ride in the sand all the time call the swingarm skid a "shovel". I would high center in the Sandlake tree shoots at times with my swingarm skid plate on.
No need to have them on in the sand.

I'd say 200 to 400 bucks. depending on what you go with.
About the skids in the sand, if you run a dry chain I would say no skid necessary. With a lubed chain you will get sand all over it without a skid plate to block the rear sprocket from the sand.
