I have a Yamaha Quad I am considering selling. Does anyone know of places on the internet to both list it and to go to get an idea of price?

If I were you I'd put an ad in the local paper or two. I just recently sold my 1996 Polaris Xplorer 300 4x4 with a winch and Vamps for $3500 in the Kansas City Star newspaper. I looked at the kelly blue book and it said mine was only worth about $2800. You just mainly have to look in the papers and see what one like yours is going for, or look at the kbb and add a few hundred. Good luck.

I do not feel that KBB provides a very accurate assessment of ATV values. The prices they list don’t seem very realistic compared to what vehicles really sell for. Take the Honda Pilot for example, KBB says it only worth $3200 in mint condition, In real life they sell all day long for $5000-$6500. Don't believe me? Show me a Pilot priced below $4000 and I will show you a ragged out buggy, if its in excellent shape, let me know, I want it, because that’s a steal!!!!

I would say the KBB price quoted for the Pilot is an exception. The Pilot is more of a novelity item that has collector value. My guess is they are placing value solely on normal depreciation.

I have found their prices on more conventional quads to be higher than the going market rates here in Houston. This would mean they are even higher for smaller cities where quads usually go for less.
