I have PC Duals on my 700v and K&N filter. I bought the Dynojet Jet Kit and followed all the instructions. I ride at 1,000-2500 feet My needles are shimmed on the 5th notch, and 2.5 turns out on the carbs. My bike idles smooth, and accelerates very strong with no misses from a stop or at top speed. However, when I cruise at 1/4 to mid throttle for a few seconds and then snap the throttle open the bike has a dead spot or miss for a split second. I took the needle down one notch to #4 to lean it out and the miss was much harder to find. However while cruising at half throttle for about 3 seconds and then snapping the throttle open the miss is still there. While on the 4th notch my plugs are much cleaner and the insulators are still white! Is there any way I can keep my mixture screw settings and larger jets but put my stock needles in?
