Whats a 95 Xplorer worth? Opinions wanted

I'm thinking about selling my 95 Polaris Xplorer 400. It's in great shape and I have kept good maintanence on it. It has a RCR pipe, new .190's and Titan 489's. Also have stock wheels with Swamper Vampires mounted. I have recently replaced the steering stem bushings, axle bearings, chain, sprockets, handlebars, grips, and headlight pod. I was thinking $3000 for all. Am I off base?

Good luck on getting $3000 I had my 96 400 Sportsman on ebay awhile back and with all the goodies it only got up to $1800.I have taken the goodies off and put it back stock and hoping to get at least that agian but would like $2200.

My local dealer has a '99 with only 1200 miles on it for $2500. That's almost a grand below book and it's still sittin' there. They gave the guy $2k on trade. That's with concentric drive and shafts up front. I thought about buying it and then trying to sell my '98 for the same $$. I only have 861 miles on my '98. It depends alot on what your local market is like.

my father in law just picked up a 95' polaris xplorer for $1500 and it came with a winch and snow plow, it's in good shape and only has 1900 miles on it. I would say you'd be lucky to get much over 2k for your quad. the smaller quads now days are dime a dozen due to everyone wanting 500cc or bigger.

You never get what you put in one. All the extras help sell yours before another, but probably won't help the price. The people that buy the older quads are usually just starting out or buying for kids and don't care about add ons. You may get a little more than book, but I doubt it.
Sounds like a great quad, though. Good Luck.
