Where is the best place to relocate the ignition after putting on a smoothy hood?

 

I relocated mine on the bottom right side plastic and tie strapped the ignition wire to the frame,to keep it from the exhaust.It worked out good and looked pretty good.

 

I just relocated mine the other day. I have an 01 Lakota Sport, and I moved it straight down. If you look on the right side of your Lakota, right where the word KAWASAKI ends on the sticker, there is a spot there. I used a Uni-bit and drilled a hole, and filed a slot for the tab, worked just fine, looks like it was supposed to be there.

 

both sound good or put it and the reverse light together on the side panels

I moved mine to the Handle bar dash, just got some washers, and screwed it into the plastic part of the dash, so it looks like most of the newer sport quads key location,
works good, looks good
