Hi, I found a used DS in the local paper, I am going to look at it tonight. I know a lot about quads but have never been on or around a DS.

What reliability issues did they have?

Power wise, are they comparable to a banshee or quadzilla

what should i look for when i check this out?

The year is 2000, I think i can get it for $3400 Can, which is about $2500 US. Ithink this is a good deal but I have to drive 2.5 hrs just to check it out.

It needs rubber, I have alot of decent tires off other bikes kicking around my shop. What are the sizes for tires?

are the ones i know of the engine is pretty bullet proof. other things to check are the heim joints on the a-arms

 

personally it sounds a pretty cheap considering what we paid for the 02 we just bought, i'd take a good luck at it, make sure nothin else is wrong
