rancher suspension

Default rancher suspension

has anyone replaced that rancid rear shock? if so what brand and how much diffirence does it handle the rough stuff?

Default rancher suspension

A friend just replaced his rear shock on his old 300 with a Progressive Suspension, and I am not impressed! The thing is stiffer than the stock one was. They may have several models, and knowing my friend, he probably went cheap?

The fronts seem worse than the rear to me. I still have not been able to find a stock height performance replacement.

Here's a sugestion,I havent tried it on a atv but i have seen it done on truck suspension.Take a big torch and heat a small part of the spring to take some of the tension out of it,but be sure cause once taken out no way to put back (tension)...lol heat all the springs and then you will have a low rider...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
