would recoil starter work if coil wire bad,machine won't start with key but will with recoil. as soon as any electric draw is added machine stalls,any ideas ? electric circut seems to be interrupted. local dealer closed so trying to figure this out. thanks for any ideas.

Sounds like the battery, more than a few of us had the same problem.......

 

One sure way to tell if it is the battery, the lights will flicker...and usually be brighter on idle than on higher rpm's


Yea NB, i have had that problem, i think i got a bout 50 hours out of mine

 

thanx for reply. when I hooked charger up to battery it read full charge. when I turn the lights on the machine just dies,also any revving and the machine dies. I'm really lost with this one,going to check wire from plug next to see if it is getting pinched between tank and frame.any other ideas would be greatly appreciated,thanx.
