250 Mojave vs. Honda TRX300EX
#2
I ride with a friend that has had a 300ex for years. The stock suspension is better for low to medium speeds, but I like the mojave's suspension alot better for the fast stuff, bigger jumps etc.... Speed they are about dead even when they were both stock, mine has responded to basic mods a little better than his.... If I had to start over I would get a 300ex, but I'm getting sick of kick starting too... They are both great trails/woods bikes though.

If your going to get a Mojave, just know that this is the last year, they don't appear to be returning for '05.
My opinion on the two (I have a 300EX, used to have a Mojave)
Top Speed: Pretty close, Mojave may edge the 300EX by a little bit, but its nothing substantial.
Trails: I'd take my 300EX over the Mojave anyday for the trails, fast or slow, the 300EX just feels a lot more "flickable" to me, but thats just my opinion.

My new GPS is neat!
Top speed on a stock Mo is 56.6 mph.
300ex does 58.1......yes Red is a little faster.
In a drag the Mo is 1/2 bike length ahead untill it tops out and the 300 will slowly pass.
