I've got a buddy that wants to use the Alien system on his Rappy. But I remember awhile back that they had a problem with the flanges flexing and breaking off the mounting studs at the head. Is this still the case. Or is there a cure for the problem?

 

DMC upgraded their pipes awhile back. They have alot thicker flange now and dont seem to have the same problem. Think it has been almost two years since they changed and I heard that if you have the older style, they will send the new flanges free. Thats just what I heard.
