Default belt solenoid for P-700

Hey, what's up guys? My Solenoid on the belt seems to hum alot. I will turn the bike off. Then, as usual the belt solenoid will change position after about 4 seconds or so. 1 or 2 seconds later, it begins to hum and cant seem to figure out what it's going to do. It's been doing this for about the last 2-3 rides. What does that solenoid control? I think that I heard that it's a parking brake for the belt, but not sure.

It is the engine brake actuator (12-vdc servo motor) that is trying to reset itself to home position when it is making that humming noise when you shut off the engine. However, if it is making that humming noise for more than 5 seconds or if it never stops humming, your servo motor is lost not being able to home itself. You need to manually bring it home by applying a separate 12vdc or replace it if it is physically gone bad.
