I live in Md, so I will be in all different types of terrain. Mountains, marshland, snow, etc. I have tried to read about both & listen to you guys talk about your wheeler but it is so hard to choose. Any help would be great thanks all. mikey i had that same question i am going with the p700 because its bigger more sporty and i dont need irs but you might want the grizz because of high ground clearance but they are somewhat top heavy(not good for climbing steep hills hope this helps

Default Prairie or Grizzley HELP thanks

They climb steep hills just fine. That is a myth made up by a lot of people who read something about it and then posted it over and over and after enough people have read it and re-posted it, it has become commonplace to read. BS. I've had mine for over 3 years now, and I can't say that I have ever had this problem with steep hills. I can climb anything anyone else can.

The Grizzly does have a narrow track and could be construed as "tippy" in sidehill situations. This is true.

Default Prairie or Grizzley HELP thanks

I bought a Grizz660 back in fall 2001. it was a realy nice quad but after, I read so many good things about the Prarrie 650 I had to try one. I had so much more fun riding the prarrie the grizz hardly ever left the garage unless I needed a spare bike for friends, I finaly sold it last fall and bought the first of 2 twin peaks (prarrie clones). I have spent some time on a brute -force and would rate it above the grizz also. I test road a KQ and would say it felt alot like the Grizz in the handeling department just IMO better quality and 35cc extra and EFI to boot.

I have two friends that ride with us every weekend. My stock p-700 will beat the stock grizz easy. One guy got a pipe-K&N-jet kit. He's right there with mine now. One thing i don't like is the speedo you can't see it very well riding fast it's way down in front of the bars. Not on top. Grizz is a smoother riding 4x4 but my p-700 feels better on faster trails to me. He's just as fast on the trails.

we ride big loops every weekend put on 75mi last weekend.
04 p-700
04 p-700
05 rincon
05 grizz
04 grizz
05 pred
and some slower one's.
