#1
hello i have a kfx 700 with the following mods , k&n air filter, yoshi complete exhaust, dyna jet kit, pink spring , these made a big difference but i ride with probably the 2 toughest bikes out there a ds650 bombadier, troylee predator 500 both with same mods as me they get me buy quad lenght and still pull away !!!!! i would like to hang with them but i hope i can make a few mods and quiet them up as you know the routine bla, bla, bla ,kawasaki is junk bla, bla, bla now matter what you do it wont be any faster yada, yada ,yada ......... you get where im going predators, banshee, raptors are like a#@holes everybodys got one not that ther is any thing wrong with them but i like to be the under dog , what about the cdi box that is out that is new this week ??? 6 degree key?? what about porting the heads good /bad??

I'd get rid of the Yoshis and get the HMF's or DMC Aliens. Get the Dalton blue/orange spring, Dalton weights and overdrive clutch cover and add either a good CDI or the 6 degree key. Open up the airbox with either a bigger snorkel or dual snorkels to get the jetting up in the 160 range. At that point you shouldn't be having trouble with much of anything short of a big-bore.

I run HMF Duals, Dalton Orange/Blue Spring and Dalton Weights (Must Have), and a Four Stroke Tech CDI box. I ride with a buddy that has a piped Predator, and I have a slight edge on him in the dirt. Hillclimbs at the Dunes, with 22in. (He runs 20in.) paddles, I eat him every time. I have raced several stock DS's and Raptors, and Have little trouble with them. I have had mixed results (Win some, loose some) with modded ones, depending on what they have done.
