Anyone every tried to cut the piston skirt on a lt80, a guy told me to trim 1mm high, 10mm wide, with a 3mm radius anyone hear of this on these little qauds. He claimed it gave it better performance.

 

He's trying to improve the flow of the fuel charge into the cylinder.Some ppl window the piston.
It's mighty arguable as to the worth of this. I have tried motors with and without the window.I noticed no performance gain.
