Default Titan 589's?

I am just curious if anyone else on this site runs these tires? I got a deal on mine and so far I have been very satisfied with them and I just wonder why I don't see anyone else on this site running these. Those of you that have other types of tires what made you decide on what you bought.

I've been running 27" 589's on my P650 since late 2001, They still have 90% tread and have NEVER let me down! I had some trouble getting them from a local tire store because everyone was out of stock on them, but they finally arrived and even at $416 I don't believe I went wrong!

Gougeonit,

It is good to see someone else uses these great tires. Mine have barely worn at all in over 2 years.

Yes, I run Titan 589 MT's and have been very pleased with them. I bought them three years ago when I started plowing snow, thinking I needed additional traction. My stock tires were 24's and I bought the 26's. I immediately noticed better traction on trails and hills. I rarely ever spin or slip in snow.

I'm running the ITP 589's, which I assume is the same as the Titan 589, since they look exactly the same, so must be same people making them....I have the 27" 589's mounted on ITP Type 5C wheels, here is a pic:

I have around 3200kms on mine with quite a bit of hardpack and they still have about 70% tread left. The front ones are a little better cause I don't need them to wheelie.

They are a heavy tire though and when these get wore bad enough I will be switching to a different one.I really like the traction and I got a pretty good deal on them but........
