I'm going to try the 22x11x10 ITP Titan Trail Claw II tires. I need a 22" tire on a 10" rim. I need the best hookup I can get in sandy conditions and in hard, dry torn up mixed grass/dirt conditions, while maintaining good hardpack performance. The trail claw II's are light, and have widely spaced tread. They may not be the hardest rubber for long wear and they may not be the most puncture resistant either. I might run a second set of tires such as 22" realtors or 22" holeshot XCT's.

I have 22x10x12 Realtors. I have never rode in sand, but in every thing else they give extreme straight line bite. Powersliding isn't bad, but they will break loose and grab again. All and all MEAN tire and I think they are worth the money.

A guy I met at a race swore by Trail Claws for hillclimbing. He had 2 or 3 years on them and they still look pretty good. Later, Kurt

Scooby, I am currently running the trail claw II,and i can say they have excellent straight line traction in all kinds of soil. I live in Montana and found that the stock tires sucked in any kind of snow. Now i can climb hills in 8 inches of snow with little effort. Some times they almost hook up to well like on a hole shot you might find yourself pulling the clutch and hitting the rear brake to keep from flipping it and thats sitting over the tank!! The downfall to these tires i would say would have to be turning stability, it feels like the tire wants to roll under due to the tires lack of a flat tread. Im also runnung these tires on a nine inch rim, they might not be as bad with a 10 inch rim due to the sidewall being shorter! Hope that helps answer any question you might have had!

burbanator, Are you running the 22" tires? Does the tire pressure affect how flat of a profile the tire has? What psi are you running?

Scooby, my tires are 22x11-9 and i run 5 psi in them, and im running 23x7x10 itp xct up front. Ive tried different pressures in the rear and 5 psi seems to work the best all around!

I replaced my stock tires with 22x11x10 surtracks and they worked well an all types of soil, thought there wasn't a better tire out there. Until bought a set of 22x12.5x10 spidertrscts. The differance between the surtracts and spidertracts was like going from
the stock tires to the surtracts. INCREDIBLE TIRE
