Why are all aftermarket tires smaller daimeter?
#1
I've been shopping around to replace the stock Dunlop rear tires on my '99 Warrior (22x10-9s). Why is it that all aftermarket tire recommendations from folks out there are 20s? I thought I would want to keep the design ground clearance for trail riding, but apparently this isn't a big deal (?). Aren't there any aftermarket 22s that would work well for a Warrior?

ITP Holeshot XCT's! (http://www.itptires.com/holeshot.html)
Having a square profile (as opposed to the rounded balooney stock tires), these will add a lot of stability to your machine! I would suggest staying with 22" in front as well, so you could go with the Holeshot XC's up there (instead of the 23" XCT's).

I'm going to have to agree with ReconRanger. I have the Holeshot XCT's on the rear in 22" and the Holeshot XC's on the front in 22" as well. Great tires without a doubt. They are a little expensive, but so far they seem to be worth it. And they're tough. Not one flat yet.
