I went to order replacement barnett carbon fiber friction plates and the local dealer told me they are discontinued. Has anyone else heard this? They only offer the kevlar now.

 

What? Kevlar sucks in a wet clutch. News to me.

this is what barnett said when asked if carbon fiber was discontinued.


No, not at all. We still offer the Carbon Fiber friction plates in our B-650DCF clutch kit and # B-651DCF extra plate clutch kit.

Sounds like the problem may be with your local dealer and not Barnett?

Just curious what problems you have been having with their products.

 

No it's barnett. I've had the same service issues with dealers both in NY and Texas. It's not the dealer, it's the person screening calls/orders at barnett. more info later...
