Default overload front spring for snow plow application!!!

i was concerned with how the front end was overloaded with the plow lifted up.checked in with my local spring shop and bounced my idea off the boys.he ask, how much extra weight?so i guessed at 150 lbs.so i measured from ball joint to ball joint,28 inches with a 3 inch arch.this is proto type #1. so i welded a 5/8 NC nuts into the lower control arm ,flush with the bottom of the a-arms out at the ball joint. notched both ends of the spring so it could slide when loaded. so now before you put the plow on you place the spring into place and hand tight a couple 5/8NC x 1 1/5 inch bolt up through the slot in the ends of the spring into the nuts( that i welded into the lower control arms) hook up plow and instant spring load that can handle the extra weight. now this is my first attempt, i think a little rubber bumper bolted through the center of the spring will help centre the spring . i don't have pictures, yet.if anybody thinks that damage could occur to any parts feel free to post concerns...thanks

I put a set of front spring stiffeners out of Royal Distributing on my 650. About $15 for the set and takes 2 minutes to put on. They work really well.

SWISHER WAS MUCH MORE SIMPLE, AND THE BRUTE CAN STILL LIFT THE FRONT!
