Is the 450R going to come out with a push button start? I have a suzuki Z400 but I like and kind of want a 450R. So basically what I am saying is honda going to make revisions to the 450R anytime soon?

 

Not on the 2005 models. I heard from a guy that knows a guy, that Honda will probably implement electric start for 2006, but no reverse like was rumored.

 

Don't let the lack of electric scare you off! Once you get the drill down, it is one kick starts every time, hot or cold! Only time I have to kick more than once, is when I forget to turn the key on...........

I figure that electric starter and a battery is going to add something like 15 lbs., so no thanks to that.

 

My neighbor has an 04 and it starts real easy. Even cold 2-3 kicks and it fires up. You don't need no stinking battery!!!

 

i dont think honda will ever get on the electric star thing because as u can see from the previous messages is that it is quite easy to start and u dont really need to have electris i have and 04 and it starts up very time i try it unless like reconranger i forget to turn the key on

 

I start mine sitting down. They are way easy.

 

i dont even own one but my friend does and when i start it up u dont even have to kick it, its like a puch with ur foot and it starts

 

there is no need for electric start. electric would add about 15 lbs, and it is so easy to start anyways. i love my 450r. dont let the kick starter scare you.

 

same here, if it had e-start from the beginning then fine but I love the kickstarter. I know battery problems are few and far between but its onle less thing i have to worry about. Ne3ver would I want reverse on my 450r either. All that stuff just adds weight and more things that can go wrong.

 

what website tells u about what they are going to do to the quads in the future, so 450r is getting reverse in 2006 right?
