Help!!!!!!!!! Many Many problems with my 02 lakota
#1
about six months ago i bought a used kawasaki lakota sport that came with a extended dealer warrenty. In the past month just about everything possible went wrong with my lakota. The clutch shoes are slipping exteremly bad to the point where i cant ride it, the hand back break lever cable snapped, it smokes ALOT when i first start and puffs out quite a bit of smoke every time i shift gears even when its warmed up, and it leaks oil because of a stripped bolt in the transmission cover. I brought it down to the dealer assuming that some of these things might be covered under warrenty, and today i called to see if the tech looked over the lakota, and he did. He said that i need new valve seals, a new break cable, a new transmission cover and new seales and gaskets for that, and worst of all he said that my 1month old 8600lbs tensle strenght EK x-ring chain on brand new sprockets needed to be replaced because it was wasted, and NONE of the things would be covered under the warrenty. Does this sound reasonable, or are they just trying to rip me off. Also does any one know what the compression ratio on a lakota should be. the tech said mine was 30:1. any input would be great, thanks
