Default Problem with Rican tranny

I just bought a used 03 Rincon. Before I purchased the quad, I had the Honda dealer do a full 1200 mile maintainence ($200). I had this done because the guy I bought it from said that you had to let the tranny warm up before it shifted into 3rd gear. The Honda dealer said the bike was perfect. It has extended warrenty that transfered to my name. You have to ride the quad for 5 minutes before it will shift into 3rd without slipping. Should I be worried about this? Should I take it to a different dealer.

Thanks in advance,

Ok i dont think you have a problem. The rincon uses a hydrolic torque converter. So just like a car you hav eto let it come up to operating temp before you can get full perfromance.
