So confused...

Well, it looks like I'm getting back into quads. I was into wheeling full size vehicles for a while, but between the upcoming wedding, buying a house, and all the other expenses, it looks like I'll be selling my full size vehicle and getting a quad again. Plus I'll be able to plow the driveway and have fuN! I've owned a good number of quads: Mojave to a Warrior then I didn't own anything through college. After that I bought a wolverine, traded for a 400ex, then sold for a new Raptor. Of all, I like have the 4wd quad the best, just wished it switched out to 2wd. Now they offer that but I can't decide which one...I'm leaning heavily towards the Grizz but worry about the bogging of the engine in water , but I also like the new 700 king quad, but worry about the reverse and lack of low end power people have complained about. Wish there was a way to try them out first. What do you guys think I should go with?

Goldmember,
Welcome to the site and back to atving. I ride a wolverine as you say you have had in the past and I have ridden quite a few bigger machines.
I really like the grizzly, I would buy one if I was in your boat. I wouldn't worry about going to deep in the water. I actually went river riding with someone with a 2004 griz and he went pretty deep without any problems. I don't think that is a big worry with any machine though. I have ridden a few big polaris's and they deffinately have ample power, but are heavy and don't handle very sporty. They seem like more of a work machine. I only have taken the new KQ700 for a quick ride, so I don't have much to say about it, but it felt like it rode very nice and seemed to have pretty good low end torque. There are a few other bigbore 4x4's worth looking at and possibly test driving. IMO I don't think you can go wrong with a Griz.

it really depends on what kind of riding you do and what you plan to use it for, speed and acceleration, King Quad, speed acceleration and unbeliviable strength, Polaris 800, in-between, Brute Force, though i have to hand it to the Polaris 800 in beating the BF in everything exept weight :\

I went to the dealer today and sat on both the Grizz and KingQuad. I wish I could test drive them even if it was in the parking lot. I like both for different reasons, but I'm now leaning towards the KingQuad. I like the storage unit right on the fender, it feels a little smaller, has EFI, has a headlight on the handlebars as well as on the front, the rear brakes are sealed. Although on the flip side, the Grizz's seat was little softer, the winch mount was included in the promotion and it has 1.5 more ground clearance. That doesn't worry me too much as I'm used to riding Raptors and 400ex's with much less clearance. Oh yeah and I sat on a yfz450...extremely uncomfortable.
