Im thinking about buying a new toy after I buy my truck and was wondering if I should get a 400ex, or a dirt bike. I used to have a 50cc yamaha, but I havent had a dirt bike since. Ill keep my 250ex either way since i love it, but im not sure If i should even bother getting a dirt bike. All opinions are welcome. I was thinking a 2-stroke dirt bike.

 

Go with the quad, in my opinion you can ride them more easily & often in different types of weather.

 

I like dirtbikes but they are a bit dangerous. Though if you get a 2 stroke like a YZ250 from yamaha or something similar, get ready to hold on because they are fast, they keep up in a drag with my YFZ. Also you could get big air with a dirtbike.

 

Thats a tough decision. You do already have an atv. As long as you are happy with that I would say get a dirtbike. I'd go with the 4 stroke bike though. 4 strokes are just as fast as the 2 strokes now a days. I rode the Kawi 250F and omg!! its fast!! I rode my buddies 03 450F and its really fast. It smokes my 00 KX 250. Im goin towards the 4 strokers now. Good luck on yer choice! Later!

 

Since you have a quad I would go with a dirt bike, You can go far more places on a dirt bike that a quad wont even fit. The 2 stroke is a good idea too. Today's high performance 4 strokes need more maintainence than a 2-stroke, and are much tougher and more expensive to rebuild when they explode.
