When is the best time of year to buy?

when is the best time to get a good deal on atv? last fall my dealer said "it's deer season we don't need to deal", now they say "it's snowing we don't need to deal". is there time of year when the dealers or maunfactures start making some good deals or offers? or is it going to be "it's tax return season we don't need to deal" followed by "it warm weather, we don't..."
i'm looking to buy a 2005 model and don't want their "special" financing. i wanted to buy before April, but could wait until late May for a deal.
thanks, Joe

IMHO you are coming into the 'best' buying season right about now. Any hunters are well into the hunting season and should already have their rides and despite the fun of riding in snow, I think most ATV riders prefer warmer weather. ATV dealers are taxed on inventory just like auto dealers are, so there should be some incentive to get those ATV's off the floor before the end of the year. I guess there might be an ATV Christmas season to contend with, especially for kids quads but I think sales might drop off a bit after Christmas and early into the new year.
The last time I bought new was in the end of January and they were willing to deal.

i got mine, in late september, the new models arrived in august, and they still had the 04's on the floor, i got mine for 2854, compared to 3299 which is what they originally quoted me, Good luck, i found the best way to bring down the price is to ask about price matches among oth dealers, then uptalk the competition, I knew i wanted a recon from day1, but in the dealer all i spoke about was the new bruin 250, its bigger, discs, stronger and what not... also the salesmens ***** were in my hand from the moment i walked in to the stealership.
