I want to know mods that i can get for my 2003 400ex without going internally in the engine. Mods to make it go a lot faster.

some things u can do to make it faster is get new ignition, new airbox, airfilter, sprocket kits more teeth and thats all i can think of there not gonna make a ton fast but alil

what do u mean waste ur money on a rev box a rev box would be great with a pipe n airfilter plus u can get the box for only $59.95 and u can find the ignition at this site Text oh yeah i for got to answer ur qusetion what would it do. it will ad more spark to ur sparkplus liem more sparts whichs ads more hp and better throttle response

well, if you want to buy a rev box and think your going to get more spark go right ahead. i realize with the msd ignition you will, but for $400 you can get a cam and piston that will do much more. i have tried a few rev boxes and only real benefit is added rpm, which is only needed for a more aggressive cam and high flowing pipe. mine currently advances the timing too which makes added throttle response but for power i would look elsewhere.

I added a slip on pipe, K&N filter with pre-charger, removed the airbox lid, and re-jetted my 400ex's for about $300.00 apiece and got a seat-of-the-pants difference espeacially in the low and mid range. Excellent retune for the investment.
