Default Broke plastic on left Fender (Cheap fix?)

I Put a tree through my plastic while doing some aggressive trail riding...

Any info on a cheap fix for this would be greatly appreciated... The hole is about 2 1/2 - 3 inches...

I would just leave it alone but water mud keep spewing out all over....LOL

Thanks~

If you can get a piece of (PE) Polyethylene, you can buy one of the plastic welders. From what i have read they are the standard for repairs to fenders. I have about a 6 inch crack in my front fender and that's what i'm going to do.It comes with clear welding rods that take on the color of your own plastic. I have seen a cheaper one for small repairs costing $39, then the have a nicer one for $139. why don't you buy one and i'll try it out for you and tell you how well it works lol

I saw one (plastic welder and a bunch of plastic welding rod) in the new Rockymountainatv 2005 catalog. Think it was around $40. www.rockymountainatv.com Hopefully it's on the website too.

USE AN OLD SOLDERING IRON TO PUT A GROOVE THE WIDTH AND DEPTH OF A ZIP TIE IN THE BACK SIDE OF THE PLASTIC AND THEN WELD A ZIP TIE IN . GO SLOW AND BE PATIENT. GOOD LUCK!
