I have a 2001 grizzly. It has 140 miles on it. Every time I have went through deep water you can see water in the oil through the sight glass. I checked the breather hose and it is secure. Where else could the water be coming from? I have changed the oil after both times in the water. It didn't quit or bog down when in the water. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is no dipstick on this model. Only a site glass to show you the level of the oil

Yes the oil fill cap is on and every other obvious thing has been checked but thanks for the reply.

Wish I could offer you some advice about your problem, but I can't. I to have a 2001 Griz. Put it through alot of water from time to time and I have never had that happen to me. Check out the oil filter cover. If its not tight enough or if the rubber seal is missing or damaged, water might get in there. But you would also see some oil leakage. Or maybe the oil cooler has a small hole in it? Or one of the tubes feeding the oil cooler. How do you let water in without letting the oil leak out. As long as your filler cap is on. If I were you I'd do a real close inspection of the engine and see if there is anywhere you might be leaking alittle oil. If you find some, then that could be the culprit.I don't know!?
