Kawasaki issue's BF 750 jetting change........
#1
As most know, the BF is jetted too lean in the front cylinder.......As of last week, the NFKK needle in the front carb is history and has been replaced.........The new needle is N4MT with a part # 16187-0169.....the rear needle stays the same at NFKL part # 16187-0156......I ordered one today and parts guy said they were in stock and not back ordered, I will see if they will replace under warranty since this is a factory "change" or upgrade, seems they will replace for free since the stock one has been done away with and a new needle was deemed nessessary...........

Thanks for the info I'm probaby going to call the dealer and inquire about it monday. However we got about 13.5 inches in about 18 hours yesterday and I was out plowing in low until we got to about 10" and actually didn't have any/as many backfires that I normally get through normal riding. Too bad reverse override exists it has never bothered me before, but usually I'm not helping plow 90 apartments. Isn't there a CDI that can be installed without having to splice into harnesses that also overrides reverse so that my stock one could be reinstalled for warranty work.

Yes, the Dyna CDI is a plug in unit, the 700 Pra. and Brute use the same model, you can find them on ebay for $239..... I have one and you will most likely have to jet up with the CDI as is leans it out even more, I am going to put the new needle in both carbs along with one size larger main jets..........
