Can someone give me the Fram part number for the oil filter on a 400EX. Time for another oil change...

Any dealer with a Parts Unlimited catalog can look that up for you. The oil filter that the 400EX is really common. Several of the old ATCs take the same filter and yes even the XR400, and 300EX use it.

"STOP"! Don't do it. Fram is crap, you're actually getting what you pay for...not a whole lot.

Either get the genuine Honda filter, or buy a WIX brand. I went to my local NAPA dealer and bought a WIX filter for $5. I think my Honda dealer wanted $6+. I am pretty sure Honda makes the WIX filter (not all WIX filters, just the one that fits your Honda).

I don't remember the part number, but can get it if needed. In addition, I realize I didn't put any supporting info. in here....I feel lazy today. I can, however, provide you with links to support my statements if you wish.
