Default 2-up Sportsman in the future?

Rumor has it (from All-Terrain Mag) that its possible Polaris might introduce a 2-up based on the Sportsman 600 or 700, with IRS of coarse, in summer of '05. Possibly may be on the ATP platform.

i think it's a great idea. many folks ride with passengers around here. only problem is that they do it on an ATV designed for only 1 person.

but how many different models can Polaris afford to make and stat profitable? they may have to dump one.

or maybe because they droped watercraft (which was a VERY smart idea) they will add a few different ATV models. who really knows for sure.

i just hope it's not BLACK! red/blue/silver/mossy-oak/olive would be nice.

come to think of it, if Polaris does a 2 seater, i think it should be truely different from the compitition. it should have a huge fuel tank and be offered in a DIESEL!

how about that boys!

by the time you add a soft cab, winch, 72" plow, and heater in cab to the Ranger, you could have bought a 2 year old Jeep Wrangler with under 30K miles for the same money.

and the Wrangler will be so much more useful. first off you can register it, drive it just about anywhere coast-to-coast, go wheeling, and plow snow. all you can really do with the Ranger is drive around in circles on the farm.

please correct me if i'm wrong.

Your right! but i think i am gunna make it faster road tires and a hard cab with hard doors so i can lock it, i will just make a ranger road legal, with some blinkers and horn ,backup light, brake light, i would rather drive one of them then a jeep. pluse i can hall a nice trailer with 2 quads on it, i mean it has 1500lb of towing.
now correct me if i am rong!
