my buddy has a rancher 2x4 he just ordered 28in. mudzillas and and a lift kit for it so i told him to get a exhaust kit and filter for it to held on power loss he was gonna have. well i have looked and am strugglin to find parts for it any help would be great.

 

Check out www.highlifter.com. The Rancher High Performance kit helps a great deal.....not sure about restoring the powerloss from 28" tires. Even a big bore kit will have trouble turning more than 27" well. But the HP Kit will offer the most power gains. It comes with a jet kit, k/n filter, SuperTrapp IDS2 muffler, outerwears filter cover and NGK racing plug. You can also purchase the products individually. Many prefer the HMF or Big Gun mufflers but I've had no prob. with the SuperTrapp.

The Ranchers biggest asset, is that it is relatively light and agile compared to the other huge/heavy utes that are out there. Loading this little machine down with huge/heavy tires, isn't a real bright idea! Tell him not to mount them when they come, so he can return them (unless he has money to waste, and wants to do an expensive experiment)!

I run 25" Holeshot ATR's on light 12X7" rims. It's way lighter than stock! That is the biggest I would ever go.
