Default Wheel spacers on V-Force

I put some 2.5" EZ Fit spacers on the back of my V which really enhanced its stability (and matched up to my new offset front wheels), but I'm wondering if these things seriously compromise the strength of the hubs or lugs. Has anybody broke anything by running spacers?

If this was a 350 pound racer, I wouldn't worry, but at 516 pounds, I'm concerned. It's strictly a dune quad, and I do some mild jumping.

Default Wheel spacers on V-Force

I have used the dura blue wheel spacers for over a year now 2 1/2" per wheel 5" total and have had no problems. I wouldnt ride without them any more. It does make it a little tight in the woods but it is worth it. I had the 1 1/2" spacers on the front but did not like the steering after that so I took them off. I do ride very hard so I if any body was going to bend an axle or something running wheel spacers it would be me. Hope this helps.

I would honestly be worryed about big air on hard pack, with spacers that wide, but as long as you keep them good & tight, you'll likely be OK on the sand...

Thanks for the input. I've got two rides so far at Glamis with light jumping, and no problems so far. The handling was significantly improved. I can honestly do doughnuts with the big 24" Skat Trak Extremes. Before the spacers, that was scary because those tires grab so well. On my first ride, I parked after about 5 minutes and re-tightened the lug nuts. That turned out to be a good idea because there was a little slack to be taken out after the initial install.
