When you say big difference do you mean in throttle stiffness or performance?

going from no pumper to pumper, big performance gain, no secret there, Mikuni pumper carbs rock from the factory by their own rights.

modding the springs to make the pumper usable with a thumb throttle without needing Popeye arms makes a big difference for comfort and drasticaly reduces thumb fatigue.

It would be nice if whoever makes the springs for these carbs offered them in a tension suitable for thumb levers, but they were made for twisties on harleys so we gotta make due.

Glad you dig it shmee

you guys havin trouble jettin ur TM's? Im havin the hardest time, was sooo messed up when i first recieved it, but i talked to Higtower (thanx again) and got it within runnin good, but its never been dead on, always somethin, and now that the cold is here im worse off lol, my efforts got me in the right main jet range, but i should have been changing the pilot jet and air screw before that, lesson learned i guess, still workin on it...
