Did anyone else get a recall for their machine? My dealer called the other day asking when I wanted to make an appointment. There is supposedly a recall for some coil somewhere. He woke me up when he called, and I was still half asleep, so I'm not real sure what part he was talking about. Love working third shift and having someone call at 1 in the afternoon.

 

I don't see any information on polaris' web page about a recall? Anyone have any info???

 

my dealer called me and told me to check my plug wire and make sure it wasnt pinched between the frame and gas tank.he said that it can short your coil out,mine was fine.hope this helps?

 

azzkikr, the service bulletin he is referring to is for the coil wire being pinched between the fuel tank and the brake line diverter. it can cause the bike to qiut running. should have it checked before have problems.

 

It is not a recall but a service bulletin on the coil wire.

 

Cool. Another question though. How do you know about the service bulletins or where do you find out about them. If my dealer had not have called, I would not have knew anything about it.
