Oops. Broke some plastic. Anybody got a fix?
#1
I seem to have "developed" a minor crack in my right side footboard plastic on my Kodiak. The rock I bottomed it out on might have had something to do with it. Doh....
It's right at the very front, bottom outside corner of my footboard, where it sort of forms a "Mudflap" and is only about 2" or so long.
Does anybody here know of a product that will permanently weld/glue/bond that small crack in my plastic, or am I just "S.O.L.", and will need to replace the footboard?
It's not a big crack, and won't really hurt anything, I'd just like to tack it back together before I hook it on something and make it worse.
If anybody knows of a good epoxy or glue that works on quad plastics, I'd appreciate the info.
Thanks.

i used a epoxy called Goop before, man is that stuff strong, and there was this other stuff i used before to fix the center console in the blazer we have, it had like a 1200psi rating i think and it hasn't broke again yet.

just get some 2 part epoxy, the 5 min stuff usually does the trick for me, or i just melt it back together with a chunk of metal and a torch, or pop holes in it and frankenstein it together with some bailing wire... lol
