Theres some plastic welding kit...or you can buy some new ones...But i don't think you can weld Camo can you?

Default Oops. Broke some plastic...

I quess depending on how it is broke....when i cracked my plastic i got a drill and made small pilot holes and zip-tyed the plastic together. I used like color zips and people really don't notice! it is a quick and economical fix if it is possible and it held together really well on my 400 that i used to have. Just a thought.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

You can weld camo plastic, its just gonna look wierd.

Thats a good idea... You could even go overboard and spraypaint the zip ties the colors of the plastic.


You can weld camo plastic, its just gonna look wierd.
Oh yea i didn't mean to say you can't but I think that he would want the best looking fix.

Actually, the crack is at the very bottom of the black footboard. Right on the outside corner. It's only about 1 1/2 to 2" long.
My old man told me about a two-part epoxy he has that I might try.
I suppose if that fails, I'll just get a new footboard. Can't be THAT expensive I guess. (Unless somebody knows different).

Yeah, I'm always happy quad and Harley parts are so inexpensive!
