Rear suspension question?

Default Rear suspension question?

Can a sportsman 4oo 2003 rear susp. be adjusted for a little better ride. Theres no movement when I push down on the rack to feel the susp. i pushed down on a friends king quad and it had great movement. Also the back end slides around alot . Any help would be nice. .... Thanks

see the posts for sway bar disconnect. this may help your ride.

Default Rear suspension question?

It should have adjustments on the bottom of the shocks to make it stifer or softer. Turn the adjuster clockwise to make stifer counter clockwise for softer.

Default Rear suspension question?

My 2004 is really stiff too, even though the preload on the springs is set all the way soft. For a while I had a bag of sand on the back rack, that helped the ride a lot, until yesterday when it just imploded while i was doing donuts on the ice... that was a sight.....
