wiring new starter button

ok I've seen a few people wire in a kill button to use for a starter button.......anybody in here do that? it looks alot better and I wanted to do it........I wanna know how simple it is.......thanks

?~?~?~?~?~?~?~?~? I know somebody out there has done it before.....they use like a CR kill button... ?~?~?~?~?~?~?

i have mine hooked up like this..

It works good, i can't explain how i did it from a normal wiring harness because mine is far from normal thanks to the pervious owner.i will try.

to start the quad you have to touch the 3 black wires together with a yellow wire with a red tracer. Thats all the info i have!

I will let you know... On my 400EX I am planing on getting rid of the whole starter/light harness. As you can see in some of my pics I have already moved the harness underneith the right fender... All it is is wire pairs..

Darn THat was quick... Alright 1st I used a CR Push kill switch as the start button (you need to get one that has both wires going into the switch not one that screws to ground). It looks sweet.. I then got 2 push button on/off switches that I mounted the right front for the stock kill switch and clutch switch (since I use a CR250 cluch I moved the two wires to this switch so I can turn it off and on..) On the Left side I mounted 2 rocker switches for the light and high/low beam... All together it looks sweet. I will take pics tomarrow and put them up on the web site so you can get a better look.

ok cool! yea the pic would help out.....umm where did you get the CR kill button? I'll probably just get rid of the light buttons and everything.....all I want is one button...the starter button.......later

The local honda shop... Just ask for a generic one.. 7.95 for me
