My wife's Trail Blazer is leaking gas around the cap. Is it from a bad rubber gasket(it looks fine) or do these caps have problems? Thanks!

 

Hello raptorACDC. No that is not normal. We have two Trailblazers and neither of them leak. No matter how much we bounce them around. When I get home, I will take at look at ours to see if I can see something that might be causeing your leak.

Mine did it to but it was because I filled it to full, right up the filler neck within a quarter inch from the top.

 

My 2000 TB leaked but it was a bad gasket. I thought it could be a cracked cap, but I can't see one.

 

i have a fuel gage cap on my scrammy, mine broke right away and gas leaked out everytime i road until i bought a new one. do u still have the stock black one? cuz it could be the gasket like raptorACDC said

 

Hey,did you checked if the cap is cracked??Sometimes if you over tighten you'll accidentally crack the cap.Check it out and goodluck !!

 

Hey raptorACDC. I checked my quad. Other than the gasket or a crack in the cap/sight glass like number4 mentioned, I can't imagine what else to check.

ur air hose that runs under the plastics is prob blocked i would check it thats why its leaking
