POSSIBLE ELECTRCAL FIRE< OR DAMAGE ON 05 EFI SPs
#1
When the winches are being installed to the Efi Sps on the 05s, there is a good chance that if the person that is installing the winch to the atv does not move the bracket for the voltage regulaor, the winch wires if routed behind the backing plate could rub through and cause a fire, of mostly electrical damge to the winch harnesss. Ive had 1 atv burn to the ground and 2 that have has electrical issues in my area. Take some time and take a look fellas. Any questions PM me. Ive dealt directly with the issue.

My buddy's '05 Scrambler burned down to the ground in his garage. The fire investigator determined it to be electrical. He didn't have a winch or any other accessories. Just a freak incident I guess. I hope no one else has this happen to them. Right now he is fighting Polaris to cover it on warranty since it was less that 1 month old when it happend. Just posting to see if maybe anyone else had the same thing happen to their '05 Scrammy.
