Having posted on another thread got me to thinking...... When Im at the dunes or where ever and sleeping or just not at camp I secure the quads & compresor to the trailer with a steel braided Kryptonite cable & lock.

Just wondering what everyone else uses or if they even bother??????

 

I chain quads together everywhere I go. I chain quads together and to the trailer when parked outside motel. With dual sport bikes parked at motels I have method of padlocking two bikes together at foot pegs with one lock. I lock trailer to truck. I use Club on truck. With all the crack heads and a-- holes out there you cannot be too carefull. They can still get them if desperate but usually they will go for easier pickings.

 

I run a steel cable through everything and then through the trailer jacks if I leave them outside. Of course all it really does is keeps the honest people honest. If they really want them they will get them.

 

Big mean dog and a 357 tucked under my pillow works for me!

I have heard a lot of these guys stealing quads are packing heavy duty bolt cutters.

Like everyone's said... big-*** chain and tie them all together. Dogs and shotguns work well too.

I have had all semi-auto's and always wanted a revolver. I saw it 2 months ago and just fell in love[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I bought it one the spot. I showed some of my friends and they just about fell on the floor when they saw it. If any gun would scare the crap out of you that is the one.

 

prozack i see you got a hmf. i just got a used one from a forum member and i put it on yesterday. i gotta ask . is yours loud as a mother**&^%. that thing is louder than my stock with a end-cap??? i am not mad or anything but getting a quiet core for is a must for riding sometimes. oh yea, big chain and two pit bulls taht dont like strangers.

 

Yep shes a loud one no doubt, sometimes if Im riding hard when Im done , my damn ears are ringing!! But I aint complainin....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
