Default Hiper Beadlocks, what offset?

I am going to be getting my ds in a few days and wanted to switch out the wheels and tires right away. I am going to be going with the 23" front and 22" rear xct holeshots. What size and offset wheels are recommended? What is closest to the stock?

Here is the hiper page, I guess they added some new offsets: CLICK HERE

I'll be using my stock rims for my sand tire and tossing the Otshus.

I think alot of people including myself think the hypertech rims are not a good choice for the DS. I would spend my money on some OMF wheels. I can't remember who it was on this forum but they had alot of problems with them. I also had a set and didn't care for them as well. My OMF wheels are top of the line in wheels and I would recommend them to anyone looking for some beadlocks.

They have fix the front offset with the 3X2, and you have choose on the rear width due you want a wide or narrow setup

May just go with the OMF, but I want Black. How does powdercoat hold up on wheels?

I guess I don't understand, I know a while back they had bad offsets available. Are these not fixed with the new offsets out? I would like to keep it as close to stock width as possible.

The fronts were 4X1 and made the front too narrow and the same for the rear. This was ok if you ride in tight areas but hut in the open desert and sand dunes. The big problem I had in the dunes is with black tires and wheels. I had a hard time keeping my tire pressure constant. They would go up as the day got hotter.

Powdercoat holds up great. Just make sure they sandblast the rims first before they coat them. My powdercoater didn't sandblast the first set I brought him like 3 years ago and the powdercoat would chip off the edges easier. So I brought them back to him and he sandblasted and recoated them for me for free. Now he just sandblasts all my atv parts before he coats them and no problem at all.
