whats a good tire for any condition?
#2
I have had Maxxis Razr2's, ITP Holeshot XCR, and BKT X-DRIV's on my quad. I sell tires so I get the opportunity to change them out tiresand try different things. As far as cross country racing type tires, the razr2's have been the best, especially in the mud but they are really heavy compared to alot of others. I currently am running the holeshot xcr-03 on the reear and xcr on the front. These have been great tires, and this is ITP's lowest profile, flattest tread design. They seem to do great in everything EXCEPT mud, as the fronts dont have a raised center rib and tend to plow a little bit. I'd say the best all around tire is the BKT X-DRIV. They look just like a Maxxis Razr, are 6 ply rated, and seem to hook up in every condition imaginable. I have sold several sets of them and had great feedback about them, and the prices are awesome. So, if you want a good all around tire for recreational riding, go with the BKT's-you really cant go wrong for the price.

I would have to say the Kenda Klaw, I have owned to sets on different quads. I think they make a good all around tire, I haven't tried it but you can also reverse the tread direction for soft terrain. I trail and field ride.
