i was wondering if this has ever been done befor. i am thinking about doing this and just wanted to know if it has been done.

there is a ATV with an 800 cc Poo motor in it in the new st. anthony vid out by alticity. 910 carl cycle kit, NOS and wicked fast. climbed choke cherry at 70!!

 

I saw a banshee in the letters section of Dirt Wheels with i think a 600 snowmobile motor in it so it does work

 

Snowmobile motor in a quad? What do you think a Polaris is???

 

Raced against dozens of them, ridden one. Nothing like watching atvs running 300' in well under 4 seconds.

 

Yes it will work I have a ZR 500 in my golf cart runs well over 70 out of control. If you can weld well and engineer things you will be fine. Its funny my golf cart is faster on top end then my yfz.

 

ive built 7 of these wicked beasts and they dont take all that long just find a good chassis . i like the newer polaris one you have a little more room and the plastic and every thing fits nicer with little mods.ive done a 250r and a banshee but thats like putting a v8 in a mini copper but it can be done. im going to put a xc 700 with rer in my brothers ranger as soon as i get some time.

 

I have seen a 700cc rotax run, they say the key thing is getting the gearing right..this guy is running like 25" 12 paddles...!
