When refilling the rear differential,do you fill it to the large oil filler plug like the manual says or the small oil inspection hole farther down. The manual says to the oil filler hole, that is right up to the top of the housing, seems a bit much from my experience. The front has a lower filler hole so that one makes sense.Like I said stupid question.

When did mine I used the smaller whole to fill to and the larger one for the oil. I used synthetic diff oil.

Yeah I figured as much. I'm sitting there filling the differential, my mind wandering about tomorrows ride not paying any attention to what i'm doing. When the oil starts spilling out the fill hole I snap out of my stupor and realize that I just put too much dang fluid in that thing. I have since drained it down to the inspection hole. Ah well Momma Slaby dun razed a Bonehead.
